A Note from Julia
Founder of Koz Beaute
With over 15 years in the beauty industry and a background as a professional makeup artist, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique features that make every face beautiful. Observing and enhancing those features has become second nature to me.
This skill became especially valuable when I transitioned into the world of eyelash artistry. Much like our brows, our eyes are meant to be sisters—not twins. As a makeup artist, it’s my job to recognize those subtle differences and bring balance and symmetry to each client’s look. If our eyes are the windows to the soul, then lashes are the window treatments—and I take great pride in perfecting them.
Over time, I realized that in this ever-evolving industry, staying content with what you know means falling behind. New techniques, technologies, and innovations are always emerging. Growth requires curiosity, and for me, that meant expanding my skill set.
Skincare was the natural next step. Having personally struggled with severe eczema, I was driven to understand skin on a deeper level. I wanted to learn, to heal, and to help others do the same. I soon discovered that many of my friends and family also faced skin challenges. With them in mind, I carefully tested every product for sensitivity and effectiveness—always hoping to ease someone’s discomfort.
